Welcome to Shaolin
Bodhidharma (Da Mo to the Chinese) founded the Little/Young Forrest Temple at Shao-Shih (Shaolin), and became the first Patriarch of Ch'an Buddhism (Zen in Japan).

The basic philosophy of ancient Shaolin was Buddhist, blended with Taoist and Confucian insight. Long before Shaolin became known for its martial arts, it served as a cultural crossroads that bridged worldviews and made new insights available by translating Buddhist sutras from Sanskrit into Chinese.

Our focus is to help create and foster a state of mind and intention...and to find new ways to bridge the gaps between spirit and action, and between the intense forgetfulness of modern life and the expansive wisdom of the soul. We aim to unite voices and images from all over the world, collectively reminding one another to live more consciously with heart and clear vision.

At Shaolin Studios Publishing we work with creative, talented people all over the world to bring fresh vision and insight to an expanding, global audience. We work with artists and production, marketing, distribution, and exhibition creatives to help bring these unique visions to market.
